A date at beanieplex

Finally after so longggg stuck with 4..we took a day leave to enjoy each other company. We decided to try out the new cinema in Sunway Pyramid, The Beaniplex. They replace the normal seat with a plush bean bags. Ok, it's not that plush but it's sooo big! You have to purchase a whole seat (RM38) and can bring in 2 adults + 2 kids maximum. So it will be nice for family time but I think mcm sempit sikit kut for 4 people. 2 adults will be just nice :)

However, the movie shown in Beanieplex is limited. We had options of Dark Shadow n MIB III so obviously I chose DS because of *ahem* Johny Depp. We wanted to watch The Avengers (I knowww it is sooo yesterday) but tak ada for beaniplex, so kena download la..bila la nak tengok *sigh*

Me on the seat. I thought it's gonna be like plushie high seat, but it's seated right on the floor. Macam futon..bukan mcm katil on divan. It snugs your body right away but still tak best for MrComot because his leg is quite long, so he can't stretch it like I do.

Shoes, popcorn, handbag. 

Overall it's a nice cinema for dating-dating. Better than premier seat. But I think the best place to watch movie is in your room, cuddled and order in-lunch. You can watch any kind of movies to infinite. In our case, it will be up to 5PM only, then we have to pick up the kids :)

I want to watch this movie so bad!

The problem is, both of us are very busy. We hardly have time to sleep, even on the weekend. The migration will be in every Friday night. Already started last week. So Saturday will be gone ting tong, do laundry and stuff. And Sunday is rest day with the kids. Then Monday back to work. The only way to watch movie is by taking annual leave. Tapi nak ambil annual leave pun tak sempat how? MrComot's meeting bersusun paku everyday.

Hmmm...hopefully sempat la tengok. Normally how long they will air a Malay movie? Kalau 2 weeks only memang tak sempat. If 3 weeks most probably we manage to squeeze some space.

Cuddle Time

Actually I wanted to write about my latest checkup last weekend, but since I have another checkup tomorrow, I'll summarize everything in one entry esok lah yer.

Btw, teringat pasal Sara's entry about what do you do during the "he and me time". I can't really recall it since we do almost everything together. Work together (he does his, I have mine, but we get to have breakfast, lunch, dinner together hehe), live the house with only two of us, doing groceries together, etc etc. So some how, it has nothing special anymore.

But currently both of us found new 'masa berdua'!

We will watch Big Bang Theory most of the nights before going to bed. Since both of us only free after 12 midnight (MrComot balik rumah pun buat kerja okkkk! But he does it on the bed, so I just browsing via my handphone while baring2), we will spent another 40 mins to watch 2 episodes of the series.

After Desperate Housewives, BBT is one of my holy grail series. It's freaking hilarious. It's about 4 super nerds (3 of them are doctors, PHD doc and theoretical physicist) and talk in Klingon language! Hahaha..mesti u guys pulak tak faham. By the way, I never watch full Star Trek saga and superman, so somehow 50% of the dialog, I really don't get it (even though MrComot download it with english subtitle), but sooner or later you get it.

Anyway we didn't manage to do it every other night, sometimes I was too sleepy or he was extremely tired and we give it a pass. BBT already at season 3 and we are at season 2 now hehe.

In any case you watch BBT, what's your favourite character? My fav will be baby deer - Dr Sheldon Cooper and Volowitz is a looser :P

Rotten Movie

As in my previous entry, we went to watch Los and Faun and I write no review about it because to me, it is just an okay movie. Okay as in, entertaining, but nothing to shout about.

Buuuuuuttt, after watching Cicakman last night, I decided to give it a blow.



Cicakman is a very BAD movie!

My deep apologize to the fans, and no offense to the lovers, it is a very bad and dumb movie to me.

No offense to the director or production as well. No offense to the technologies and CGI and what ever inside the movie. It is baaaad.

That bad, that I want to compare with Los and Faun even though there are not even in the same genre. Who says life is fair? :D

Btw, I hate hate hate the movie because:

1) It is noisy. Most of the time Prof Klon and Rama2 keep on laughing histeriacally and it's not funny. Like, wth? It's noisy ok. NOISY. Whatever.

2) The hero (Cicakman lah) is dumb. I have this feeling that they want to make the character blur or slumber or blonde. Something like that la. But there is very thin line between blonde and dumb. Los (in L&F) is BLONDE and Cicakman is DUMB. There is a difference.

Okay, maybe they want to make Cicakman dumb, so? I don't like dumb hero. End of discussion.

3) Why Aziz has to laugh mcm org gila during the interview? When he's looking down on Apek. It's not even funny ok. I really don't get it. Do you have to laugh like that to make it funny? It's stupid.

4) Motif Amani kejap2 dalam latex and kejap2 naik atas (during the fighting scenes). The chain is moving up and down ke? Bad bad bad editing. Maybe they think, alaaa tak perasan punya, no need to reshoot, but heloooo, you guys are KRU okk. It's a simple editing (cehh mcm la I know how to do it kan, but I'm not in the line, so excuse me hehe) okkk. What's up with u guys?

Oh ya, talking about editing, I remember seeing a lady image during Hairi fighting with the Ginger twin in hell-like (his dream) mcm tgh direct2. I mean, why suddenly she appears kan? I asked MrComot wether he noticed it or not he said tak perasan. Now I seriously don't know, it is the bad editing (mmg somebody was there) or it was my only imagination. Now tell meeeee

And also, it is BOILED LATEX okkk!!! Ok maybe it's not boiling but I see the bubble and asap so it is boiling right??!?! Unless my definition of boiling is wrong. So, how come Amani is OKAY? Okay as in 'ops, tercelup dalam milk bath and helo world, I'm okay! You can save me anytime you want and I can enjoy my milkbath'.

OMG.

5) I almost fall asleep in the middle of the story.

He did fall asleep once. During Cicakman fighting with Rama2 inside the cave. Haha.

Cicakman 1 wayy wayyy better than this sequel. Okaylah..enough complaint. Maybe it is not that bad, since I read some review stating it is better than L&F, but this is purely my orang-tak-tahu-appreciate-movie opinion.

So don't refrain yourself from watching this because of my comment ok?

Btw, since Cicakman is that bad, I want to congrats Los & Faun for their superb quality. Superb actors with superb characters. They are simple and real! Arman is real funny and Los is freaking blonde hahaha.

Wayang @ TGV Capsquare

So we went to watch Wayang!!! It was our first time to be in CapitaSquare, in fact I never heard of Capitalsquare, kat mana lahhh tu kan. It is next to Kompleks Wilayah and opposite of City One yg dah mcm tak hidup tu. City One pun I tak pernah pergi, so have no idea it is still running or not.

About CS, it is DEAD okkkk!!! Dead as in dead lah, BIG TIME! Ok I am exaggerating :P Few shops are running but there really nothing much there. Only starbucks and one deli shop opened that time. Oh..there is Coffee Bean too but I didn't see any human movement, so either it is closed (on Sunday!) or sleeping. No idea!

I'm not sure if they already had the official launching but if you want to go there for meals or shopping, it will be a very very baddd idea.

The cinema somehow pretty good. New stuff should be that way, right?

TGV is really generous this time, the seat is really spacious and cool. The front seater way lower and I can stretch my feet to the max! Comparing to TGV KLCC, this is as twice as spacious and comfortable. Another thumbs up is the screen!! Not the size but the picture quality and sharpness. If you notice, you will see some scratch or ocassional lines on your screen but (macam tiba2 keluar kan? It always happen in GSC) but projector TGV ni bagus giler okkkk! Mcm tgk dvd in a very very big screen. Seriously we were impressed. But again, it's a new stuff, takkan la nak buruk2 :P

Can u see MrComot sedap je landing?

I was very surprised (konon :P) that only TWO of us watching the movie. At first I thought they going to cancel the show and refund our money as I heard before that they need at least 4 persons in a cinema, but somehow, they let us own the cinema that day :D

Since it's quite near to our office, this place definitely will be our regular cinema day. But we have to eat somewhere else first before off for the movie :P

I gotta check their Wednesday deal. If also RM6, wahhhh best giler!! (RM6 x2 )+ RM0 parking + new screen + plush & big seat. Jumping jumping~

Oh ya..lupa nak comment on the movie. The movie turn out ok, slightly above than ok. I enjoyed the movie somehow. Only the ending is very flat! Tiba2 je Eman Manan died and black screen LOL. They should add soemthing else to make it more dramatic like a written conclusion of what happen to Melor and Awi and bla bla bla. Ok, andes in the making of being a producer :D

Btw, the characters are very strong (that we can feel them and hate/like them) especially Jusoh. Rasa macam nak lempang2 dia okkk. To Jusoh (sorry I don't know what is your real name :D), good job!! And pakcik Eman, no need to mention you lah yer, you are the hardcore veteran :D


On the other note, I finally tried Toffee Nut Frap after reading soooo many yummilicious review from bloggers and I only have one thing to say, Ultimate Mocca from CB still rawks BIG TIME!!! Haha no offense to the lover but somehow I don't fall for it.



Ok, enough rambling for now.

Why?

I really really really want to watch Wayang and Budak Kelate. I've been busy last week and finally I can squeeze my cinema schedule this week but, dah tak show okkk!!

Only Wayang still got in cineleisure damansara but only one show at 1230pm today till wednesday, like helooooo!! Macam mana nak tgk tgh2 hari buta di hari bekerja? Gila kah?

Hmm seriously tak faham, maybe la movie tu mcm tak glamer, but why the show period is too short and only shown at ridiculous hour? Ok lah.. I understand they want to make money so no point showing movie tak glamer kan, but I refused to understand!!!

Ughh life is just sooo unfair!!

Hye peeps! How are you? I'm doing well here, it is just I am soo busy :,(. I've been wanting to write lots, hmmm..

Btw, I would like to review one of the latest movie I watched. Had this last night (during our normal RM7 rate hihihi) - Susuk, cast Diana Rafar, Ida Nerina, Sofia Jane, Aleeza Kassim, to name a few.

And all I have to say is, the movie is a good one.



I've been waiting for its appearance since 2006 and the prolong is worth all the minutes.

I can't really say it is the best, but seeing Malay film up to this standard, I am quite overwhelmed and happy.

What I like most about this recent Malay movie?

I like the way the editor change the scenes. No abrupt/sharp scene cut. It is so smooth and don't leave u to 'eh apsal tukar scene tiba2?'. So nice.

I like the dialog and the emotion portrayed by all the actors. Simple and real.

I like the way they show how the victims being killed. No typical Malay/bad movies action which one will repeat the same step like millions of time. Eg: if the 1st victim is slashed at the head, 2nd time pun showing the same thing. Boring ok. Killing victims in Susuk is a real creativity.

I like the feeling of keen to know what's going on next? The director definitely know how to do the job as both of us can't really tell the ending!

MrComot: No, I think Diana will makan Ida

And the ending, haha both of us were totally wrong.

And I like Diana Rafar sooo muchhh!! Ida Nerina is the bestt too, but somehow, ada certain scenes I rasa her reaction mcm delay (or too slow) like the time she is so excited meeting Mastura. It's like she is in another world. Scary nevertheless.

Btw, if you are about to watch this move/have watched it, please share your thought as ada something yg I'm not very sure with.

All the victims killed were related with the history like Sofia Jane being a mean diva, and Marcella being sombong kan. But what's with the Chinese lady & guy? Why she picks them as the victim? Is it random (this will definitely kill the story). I think got another scene about this Chinese couple censored or I just plain missed it haha. Please enlighten me ya!

And this movie made me thinking, that Adlin (Dukun Dewangga) is devil from the hell who wants to keep somebody's soul. And he is so mean! All this while, he lets Suraya picks her own victims, at the end, he chose himself, Suraya's bestfriend. The message that I got, Suraya will be worshiped but she will be all alone. All the family and close friends will be wiped off. That's a price you have to pay for something sinful I guess.

If you are looking for a-i'm-shitless-scared-movie, I don't think it is that scary. But it is definitely an interesting movie. And a good one.

PS I Love You

I just finished watching PS I Love You and it is very, very, very GOOD! A mind blowing romantic + life movie.

Our taste may differs, but just give it a try. If you can't download it, I am more than happy to burn it for you. Just let me know ok? ;)

Ops..2 entries in a day.

I've been meaning to write about this cool movie right after I watched it. But too bad I don't have internet connection at home. I rarely do review on movies, but this one worth the opinion.

I watched this last Friday night and tell you what, for a low cost budget movie, this movie is greatt!

Okay, I'm not giving it credit due to the cost, but it is really a good movie. I was prepared to 'cry' as I read on the net that it's a sad drama movie, but I never expect that I will cry throughout the movie, all the way!

It was simple and genuine and definitely will shed your tears.

I'm not going to spoil you guys with details but they are two things that really impressed me.

First, the editing is superb. Minus the sharp scene changes, everything is cool and perfect. IMHO, I think it is wayyy better than Anak (horror flicks with Erra and Ida) and Waris Jari Hantu. For Editing lah. There is no typical loud dub-in-the-studio. The speech is smooth and relevant with the background. Not too loud, and almost natural. Macam movie Yasmin Ahmad. Not comparing, just to set the standard how good it is. The subtitle is neat and I like it very much.

Second, Ruminah Sidek is rawwkkk okkkk!! I felt her the most.

She's the best.


I cried hard, hard sampai almost teresak2 when she came into the pictures, especially the time when she console Badrul to sabar with all the ujian came from God (when he was accused stealing).




It is heartbreaking, and moving.

Well, I am a sucker for Maya Karin so Duyung is a must watch for me. So I dragged MrComot yesterday to watch this and we even postponed 10000BC sbb takut Duyung being pulled off from cinema ok. MrComot siap cakap don't be mad at him if he falls asleep.

Oh ya back to the topic. The movie is okay je la, but Maya saved it big time!
