Iftar @ Tropicana Golf Club

Finally, after a month lacking with update, here I am trying to get my lazy fingers typing. Well, I do a lot of typing in between but only not for my blog. Oh well..

Anyway salam Syawal everyone!! Selamat hari raya, maaf zahir batin.

How was your raya? We went back to Terengganu and it was awesome, like a-w-e-s-o-m-e. The kids had so much fun (since they are bigger now) and I'm going to share lotsa stories with you, insyaAllah.

By the way, this is super late entry, about our iftar last Ramadhan at Tropicana Golf Club. Nothing to shout about, only that we didn't eat outside at all during last Ramadhan except for 2 days (this one and another one, a birthday party hosted by my friend). Mula2 teringin jugak nak makan luar but come to think, breaking the fast with these 2 combo (zahra and emir) I rather stuck at home. There are at super active phase and can't sit still especially Emir.

But then, my uncle invited us, including my younger sister so it will be about 10 of us with 5 kids with around their age, I think ok la kot, I can use the extra hand and guards. Kalau 2 orang confirm I tanakkkkk.

The food quite nice especially their sup keting and gearbox, nyum nyum! The best thing is they don't crowd the place to maximize the profit. You know, with kids, I need a lot of space. But not that spacious so that we can walk freely but still contained, so takdela risau sgt. So since space dia besar, boleh minimize accidents like bumping into each other butts and splattering broken glass.

First round

My greens that night, mushroom with kailan oyster. I love this this but it will be tastier with chili padi. This one normal one, chinese style.

 Grilled seafood

chinese style sweet sour clams. Super tasty! I had 3 full plates of this thing only!!

Emir with his satay

Zahra running in the surau. It was a ballroom I think, splitted into two (for men and ladies). The wallpaper looking so posh with the embossed gold design. Anyway, my kids were super hyper that night and they've been running here and there in the surau. There wasn't so many people in it but hopefully the makcik2 won't be so uptight about it :-S

Admiring the koi pond

The highlight of the night was live band show! Well, I didn't know the singer, or the band but apparently they are some artist who always perform on kopi-O show. Emir enjoys is sooo much, so so much that he wouldn't budge even though I was saying goodbye to him. He sit still and doesn't even care when I started to walk away.

The coffee house was about to close already and the band is packing up but Emir sit still so she said, "oklah..one more song for the kids, 'sayang'" - shae's song and she request the kids to sing along or dance. But my kids..only poyo in front of the parents, dekat public pemalu la haii..so terus jadi batu duduk diam2 dengar kakak tu nyanyi hahaha.

Overall it was a good night. The kids behaving quite well (except the hyperness in the surau), ate some food (despite of being fussy eater), enjoyed the show and the most important thing, they fell asleep easily! Putting them in bed is such a hard work nowadays and I really appreciate it when they sleep before 12midnight!

Babies @ Back

I've been sitting at the back passenger seat since Zahra day 1. That will be like 2years and half. Even after we bought the car seat, I still sit behind with her due to breastfeeding condition. It's the most practical position for both of us, where I can lift her and BF her easily.

Then Emir joined in, we put Zahra's car seat at the front - co pilot seat. And I sit behind with Emir. I'm fine with sitting behind but I think it's a good time for me to put both of them behind.

First, because of the airbag. It's not recommended to put Zahra at the co pilot seat because we can't off the airbag. Some car have this feature where u can put the airbag to off mode.

Second, I think Emir is ready to be separated from me. All this while, he has this privilege to sleep on my lap and latch. He is 8-months now..a big boy already. Furthermore, he will sit together with Zahra, so it won't be that  bad and they can entertain each other.

The car also equipped with centered DVD console, so I think they'll enjoy each other company watching movies.

Anyway, we tried putting them together at the back last Saturday when we were out to One Utama. It was all nice and easy during the first 5 minutes.

Then I started to hear some cries from Emir. Then Zahra started asking for everything.

"Mummmyyyyy..tolong ambik ni!"
"Mummmyyyy..nak ni!"
"Mummmyyyy...tak sampai nak ni!"

Ughhhhhh!

And Emir won't stop crying that I had to bribe him with 2 packs of BabyBites finger food. All the way to OneUtama. Sabar je la.

So basically it works! The DVD is not helping though. The food yes. And for Zahra, she got bored and wants to play. So I just let her play whatever she wants as long she sits tight in the car seat.

The first 5mins. All look good and happy.

We survive the return OneUtama journey. Zahra fell asleep and Emir as usual, I gave him another round of finger food hehe.

Today we put the kids behind again. So far so good because it's early in the morning so they just sleep throughout the journey. Emir woke up the moment I put him on the seat and keep on staring at me, sitting at the front. I think he's having some confusion, why I sit so far from him. He keep on yawning and yawning while looking at me. Normally I'll lift him up and BF him and he will fall asleep on my lap, but this morning, he fell asleep half way after staring at mommy *sniffles*

It's so funny that in the end, I am the one who is having blues of letting him sit at the back, without me. The moment we reached babysitter's, I smooches Emir non-stop because I miss him sooooooooooo much! And I feel bad because I didn't give him his 'morning comfort'.

And he cries when I walked out from the house. Ohhh my little sweet heart!

Anyway, we are doing it again this evening, after back from work. It's going to take 1hr plus, 1hr30mins if the traffic is bad, so we'll see it's going to be. Hopefully everything is fine with no drama.

The Prince Story

Cepatnya masa berlalu, my confinement period is over and going back to work next week *sigh*. How I wish I can stay at home longer.

Before I bury myself in the workload, I better write about Emir's birth story.

I had a very tiring pregnancy with Emir. Maybe because the age factor, and a toddler in hands. The EDD was 6th Oct and MrComot already anxious since a week before. He keep on saying I have to take leave because I'm not that fit anymore and he has this hunch that my delivery will be very fast and he's afraid that he couldn't send me to the hospital on time if we are working.

I said no laaaa...sebab during Zahra I got signs, like bloody show, a week before! And then I started rasa sakit sikit2 since morning, tengah malam baru deliver, so it's like 12 hours sign, should be enough for us to rush to TMC.

I had checkup with Dr Fidak on 4th Oct where we did the CTG monitor, there is some contractions but irregular, so kitaorg macam, ok la...lambat lagi ni and next appointment will be on the next Saturday (8th Oct).

I went to work like usual on 5th Oct..bla bla bla..normal stuff. Pick up Zahra after work, went to my PIL for dinner, had some yummy Sari Ratu's gulai tunjang, seriously sedapnya.. my MIL tapau-ed the food. Finished the dinner and lepak2 at my PIL when around 930PM I started to feel some pain. I feel so uncomfortable and excused ourselves back to home.

At home, the pain is stronger but I'm afraid it's false alarm, so I keep on tawaf satu rumah because I read, kalau nak tahu betul ke tak, try to walk when the contraction comes, if still sakit, means betul lah. I tawaf tawaf tawaf but still sakit giler that I had to bend down and cringed in pain everytime the contraction hit me. My face must be look so sakit that Zahra came to me and said, 'Mummy..dah dah..' while patting my body, macam nak console me. I cried because terkejut, tak pernah Zahra buat mcm tu. Sooo sweet... And Zahra pun macam terkejut tengok my condition.

The most shocking part is, I time my contraction while tawaf dalam rumah and it's 3 minutes apart, like seriously? That time around 1030PM macam tu, and I think that's it la, it's real! So I said nak pegi hospital, took my time to had hot shower while MrComot prepared the half boiled egg. I tried to eat the egg tapi half je, sakit sangat sampai nak termuntah.

My PIL came to the house to take care of Zahra (thank God they are around) and we rushed to the hospital. Dr Fidak request me to SMS her if I'm about to deliver, but I still degil tanak SMS that day because masa Zahra I admit 830PM, deliver 1140PM, so banyak gap kan..I want to do the vagina check dulu, takut tak buka lagi, sakit je beriya, malu lah I. Hahaha boleh lagi fikir mcm tu. I planned sampai sana they check and then baru call or whatever la depends on the situation.

Sampai dekat ER, the nurse was shocked tengok my face during contraction that she said, 'she's in high contraction!' and quickly shove me into the wheelchair and run to the delivery room. RUN ok! I was like, betul ke minah ni? Teruk sangat ke my face.

Sampai je delivery room, the midwives check me and said I'm almost ready, it's 6cm! Masa tu semua dah panic. They call Dr Fidak and I already feel like to push, the midwives ask me to hold on because my waterbag still intact, so takut the womb bengkak. She also told me sorry no painkiller because already 6cm, it's too late, no point giving me, or I'll muntah afterwards. So I said ok lah..I want the laughing gas. But it was so painful, nak sedut laughing gas pun tak larat. I think sedut less than 10 times kut. After contraction je I terkulai layu. Then rest kejap contraction balik, must be 1 mins apart I guess.

Oh ya, I cried ok masa dia cakap 6cm tu, sebab..I feel too rushed! Rasa macam tak ready sangat nak deliver.

Then around 11 something I guess, the doctor came and guess what? I tak kenal okkk siapa haha. Apparently Dr Fidak is somewhere a bit further than Kota Damansara that time and they don't think she can make it, looking at my condition, so they replace with standby doctor. The dr gave salam and introduce herself (thank God for lady doctor! I segan sket with dr lelaki) and after checking me dia cakap I dah ready. She puts on her glove and break the water-bag and the baby already crowning! The doctor tak sempat pakai apron pun, eh what we call it, baju surgery tu.

I already feel the urge to push so she just sit in front of my leg and I push so hard and Emir came out, and Dr Arifah sambut the baby, in her t-shirt and jeans haha. And no episiotamy, sebab seriously tak sempat nak potong ke apa.

As simple as that!

Anyway talking about the delivery, it's totally different than Zahra. This time I can feel every single moves during the delivery process. I can feel the head come out from my V, and the the shoulder, and I can even feel the placenta going out also! Subhanallah, it was so surreal, such a miracle moment. Masa Zahra tak rasa sangat semua tu, maybe sebab high on laughing gas..

Then the nurse put Emir on my chest and again I cried, he feels soooooo warmmmmm...memang a bun from the oven. Dr Arifah proceed with withdrawing the cord blood, we finally opted to do the stem cells, with StemTech, a sister company to TMC.

Everything else also was so quick, Dr Arifah and the nurses cleaned me up and that's it! She congratulate me and said no stitch required. Even natural tear pun tak ada. I was so surprised.. but Alhamdulillah..

Cara deliver this time memang funny. Dulu masa Zahra siap ada letak kaki on the tempat kaki to hold my feet during pushing, letak CTG kat perut to see the contraction, kira proper la, semua lengkap. Time Emir, so basic, I just hold my legs with my hands, CTG pun ntah ke mana, local painkiller tak ada, Dr Arifah pun duduk bersimpuh elok je depan my kaki, and sambut baby. And done. Lepas tu boleh borak2 with MrComot and I keep on telling him that I can feel Emir keluar from down there. Macam tak percaya. And the first thing I ask after that is a cup of hot milo. So hungry! Haha..

Oh ya, I also tak sempat ambil the ubat berak. Forgot what is the medical term for it, kan before u deliver nurse will give so you'll clean ur bowel, takde la terberak during delivery ke apa. It was too rushed but I remember about it so I siap tanya 'Ok ke saya tak makan ubat berak tu lagi, nobody give me'. Hahaha the nurse marah gelak2 ok..she said it's ok, u dah nak beranak dah ni, u berak atas ni pun it's ok, don't worry about it'. Darn funny.. too sober, too conscious.

So Emir is born at 11.40PM, same time with Zahra, and on 5th Oct, a day ealier than the EDD, also same like Zahra! (Zahra's EDD is 11th Jan, delivered on 10th Jan). So cute la derang ni..

Below are few pics during the event:

My maternity room - Ostrich!

And next to Zahra dulu, Owl room :D

Emir on 7th Oct

Emir on 6th Oct

Zahra on 6th, came to visit me and the first thing she cari is bak. Adoi.. macam dia pulak baby, sleeping with me on the bed.

My first meal in the morning, bihun goreng kosong with fish porridge. I finished all and still feel so hungry!

My mom and dad came down the next day but I stayed at the hospital for another 2 nights because my mom is not so well, so macam tanak susah kan siapa2 to cook my lunch and dinner. Makan kat hospital la senang. Lagipun Zahra a bit cranky, I wrote about that in past entries.

MrComot suka lah.. he said his hunch is always right and this time, that I'm going to deliver that soon, and fast, betul2 jadi. He said the next time could be less than an hour. He keep on saying, 'tu laa.. taknak dengar cakap hubby, nasib baik beranak malam, kalau siang kat ofis, memang tak sempat dah sampai tropicana. Next time kena ambil cuti bila dah dekat2 ni'.

Ya la..ya la..I'll listen to you ok? And what's this next time? Pengsan..tunggu la 2-3 tahun lagi, insyAllah.. :)

Oh ya, teringat pasal bagi ubat. The next day (6th Oct) is medicine day for Zahra. Nobody can give her, including the nurse. Sebab Zahra datang hospital kan, so the nurse try bagi, siap wrap her with blanket, still she can struggle out. Lagipun I think the nurse takut kut, Zahra nanges giler and takut tercekik. In the end MrComot and I jugak yg bagi, and if only we can amik video how we force her to eat the medicine. Awal2 dulu I nanges, now not anymore. But kesian kat dia, dah almost 6 months, still degil tanak get used to it, so nak buat macam mana, terpaksa la 'kejam' sikit.. Sampai skrg still MrComot akan peluk ikat dia and I picit hidung dia and tekan her cheeks and she will ketap2 gigi and menjerit2, and I have to paksa jugak dia buka mulut and shot sikit2. The skill is, not to make her muntah. Sigh..Zahra...

Pukul anak

Just to share something that I learn throughout my journey as a mom, and also as a reminder to myself.

Having two kids is not easy, I wonder how other moms doing it. Anyway I tend to loose my temper in a snap lately, maybe because a lot of thing, Zahra with her ubat, weaning issue, new baby, etc. Zahra a bit mengada too but it's acceptable because she is adapting a new addition in her life, a brother who is stealing the attention. So she cries a lot on the first week the baby came especially when she is sleepy and I'm breastfeeding the baby. I think dia bengang kut. Anyway, it makes me bengang too! Ada one time she papppp Emir because Emir is latching and automatically I scold and papppp her hands. Ok that one not so bad, ada one night she suddenly woke up and want bak, but at the same time Emir wants too, so of course la I bagi Emir and she cries her lung out, I was so tense espc hearing the cries, and couldn't help it terus sepak her face. Instead of stopping, she cries harder!

Ok that's my story. Kebetulan lak that week, a few of my FB friend post up about how to deal with tantrums and pukul anak. There are 2 things that I remember clearly.

1) never sepak the face, it'll make her more stubborn
2) pukul at her kaki and below, never above

So I tried the methods and it works! I mean, it's easy for me to get her attention. Kalau I pukul tangan, she will resorted and pukul me balik or cry..the stubborn cry. Kalau I sepak lagi la..macam no point, dia lagi nanges ada la. I think if I sepak dia 100 kali pun she won't stop..she can be that stubborn! But if I pukul her leg, she will stop and the most pun cry, the sad cry and I'll hug her, the she's all fine.

Another tip that I think paling berjaya is, use other thing to pukul her, not direct skin to skin. This will make the kid less stubborn too. Kitaorg takde rotan, so I just grab anything nearby, mcm that day, she was angry with something and pour the anger to Emir in the rocker, so I took fan remote control and babbb her kaki sikit and said 'zahra no!'. And she stopped immediately and gave me unsatisfied look, then come to me and mengadu Emir bully her, 'mummmmyyyy..babbbbbyyy' while pointing to her fingers. That's a big difference, kalau tak dia macam lagi degil.

Oh ya, having 2 kids make me shout more too. Haishh no wonder la mak2 suara kuat, have to! Kalau tak, tak dengar kata!

I am building up my patience. Don't want the kids to grow in angry environment. Please God give me the strength! Haha..rasa drama pulak but ahh..that's what I'm experiencing now.

37-weeks mommy

I'm 37-weeks this week! It is considered full term already and I'm ready to go into labor anytime now! (37-42 weeks is full term period range).

BabyG is already engaged!

Wow, that is a scary thought. Let me take a new breath..

Ok, according to last week's scan, his head is already in the position, not as in going down only, but already masuk there.. Rough weight is about 2.6kg and will reach 3.0kg if delivered on 40 weeks (based on 100g per week add estimation). Ok la kan..Zahra was 3.4kg hehe and I delivered her in my 40 weeks. The waterbag looks fine too, air ketuban still enough for babyG and he is enjoying his stay inside.

But the scary part came when the doctor said, I can deliver in my 38 weeks if stressed. Life is a bit hectic with Zahra's checkup and all kan..but I really really pray that I'll deliver on 40 weeks (or more! doesn't matter) because Zahra is this close to zero Nephrotic Syndrome and she is on the way to taper of the steroid. I need to monitor her betul-betul.

So babyG, stay strong and hang on ok...mommy not pushing you to stay, you can come out whenever you are ready, but it will be nice if not sooner than October.

On mommy's condition, the heartburn is coming back and I only notice it slows down when I take a lot of fruits. So mommies, eat your fruits ok. And I feel very very heavy..in fact I can feel babyG down there! Scary... I also started to have some discharge, upon reading, it's a sign that my body is readying for the big day. Also started to feel the sharp 1 second pelvic pain. It's more like pelvic snap. Tiba2 je tangkap kat pelvic...

Oh ya talking about discharge, if you have too much discharge from 36 weeks, you may want to do GBS test (Group B streptococcus), it is a bacterial infection and can be passed through to the baby during delivery. Kalau pass through, baby ada high chance dpt jangkitan paru-paru and you may have pre-term baby. Normally doctor will give antibiotic to treat this. It is something rare I guess because I never heard about this during my 1st pregnancy, but it's good to know about any possibilities regarding your pregnancy. For more info you can read about it from here: http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancycomplications/groupbstrepinfection.html. However, my gynea said I don't have to do the test since I don't have the symptoms.

Zahra still want to latch..it makes me pissed sometimes because my boobs is very sore lately..and I'm afraid it will stimulate the pitocin hormone as well. But kesian Zahra, she will want to latch especially after taking the medicine, probably due to the very bitter taste and want to comfort herself. Due to these situations, I had mixed feeling, pissed and sad. What a feeling.. But I can take it as I am an adult. Zahra is still small...so I braced myself and just let her..

And this is me in my 37 weeks.

Anyway, there are a lot of reasons why I'm not ready to be in delivery yet.

1) I haven't pack my hospital bag
2) The confinement room is not ready yet
- have to change the bed's frame, the plywood support is broken
- need to service the aircond
- need to bring down the babycot, it's still in the master bedroom
- jemur all the comforters and pillow
3) bought the confinement stuff - I don't know why I'm procrastinate on this, malas betul nak beli
4) book the tukang urut
5) confirmed on the cord blood cells banking

See...all is major stuff and it shows how I'm not ready yet.

Other than that, I think we'll manage. Hopefully I'll have a smooth and easy delivery, and cepat-cepat sembuh so that I can take care of both babies. Amin...

32-weeks

I am 32 weeks!!

Time sure running so fast and I hardly can catch up. Poor my babyG, I rarely update about him :(

Anyway we did the 4D scan (it's 3D and 4D - video as well!) when I was about 28 weeks. It's said the best time to the scan but since my amniotic fluid (air ketuban) is still a lot, it's a bit kosong through the scan.

When with Zahra Elena, we just managed to do a quick 3D scan at TMC with NO CD, only one piece of printed pic :(

This time I am more prepared so I scout around to find the most affordable place to to the scanning as most private hospitals will charge you around RM250! I checked with Vission College, they are the cheapest so far, around 100++ but fully booked til next few months! Dahsyat ok! Thank God a friend of mine told me about this service in www.kasihkusayangku.com.my.

For direct link you can go here: -
http://www.kasihkusayangku.com/index.php?l=product_list&c=170

And it's only at RM100! Plus quite near with my place hehe. The only weird thing is they won't reveal the place until you made the payment. But trust my experience, it's all alright. The 'scanner' is a profesional sonographer and the procedure is done in a appropriate clinic. So nothing to be worried of.

I made the payment via online transfer, got the confirmation email and address, then just go to the clinic on the mentioned date/time and my session is ON!

But my baby was taking an afternoon nap that time and he refused to wake up after a few gentle shakes, and just give us this smile :D

Sleeping..

Smiling! But still sleeping hehehe

We got a few printed pictures (2D) and a CD comprises about 50 pictures and 10 short movies!

We confirmed on the gender and check other condition, so far so good, he is developing well, despite of my underweight condition.

Talking about my pregnancy, I already see the gynea in TMC as I'm in 7 months now - Dr Fidak, same doctor with my first pregnancy and everything is good. I also feel good, only that I can't walk for long period and having shortness of breath. Time bercakap pun have to stop for a few times which is so not me hehehehe. The heartburn is no longer there, Alhamdulillah..

Last checkup 2 weeks ago showing babyG is about 1.6kg (that indicates he will be 3.2kg in full term!). Wow..sikit2 sudah yer..jangan over2. Zahra was 3.4kg but I was bigger that time. Hopefully can do normal delivery this time.

He also already pusing ke bawah, but can go back up anytime. I don't really mind as long as he is well positioned and engaged when the time comes.

Other than that both baby and mummy are doing well. Oh ya, only that this fasting month, my weight drastically fall to 51.5kg, compared to last checkup before fasting, it was 53kg :(

I think macam tak cukup makan. Masa buka puasa can't take much and planned to have late supper around 11PM mcm tu but by that time I just finished tuck Zahra to sleep, I will pengsan sekali ngan dia sampai sahur :(

Still fasting up to today..nak buka pun mcm no reason as I OK je puasa... If my weight keep on dropping off, maybe I won't puasa..will give another week and see how.

Stay strong babyG. Mummy so sorry mummy neglect you most of the time, but mummy knows you are doing OK inside. It's the safest place for you where you'll get everything you need. So hang in there and just come out when you are full term ok. Hopefully by then your sister will be recovered so that mummy can attend you 100%.

Seriously, another thing that worrying me is, if I ter-deliver not on full term, because of the stress and tiredness, with a lot of thing going on kan..pasal Zahra sakit, pegi sana sini and she still latching on me - releasing the Oxytocin hormone.

But babyG, mummy telling you..the Oxytocin is not a sign for you to be out yet ok? Just wait..until October. That's the real time :)

Stay strong darling!

28-weeks

I've been abandoning to write about my 2nd pregnancy, a lot. I guess it's just a matter of life. You always excited over the first one. Not that I don't feel excited with this one, only that, other things become higher priority now - work, raising the little one, juggling life, yeah..something like that.

Anyway Alhamdulillah I'm doing well with this pregnancy. Very well I might say, no sickness or whatever. Only that it becomes harder for me in the second trimester. I started to feel the heartburn sensation especially when I missed few brief meals in between. The heartburn will start after lunch and keep on flaming the whole evening. Pedih sangat :(

I also started to feel backpain and sakit-bontot-dont-know-how-to-describe-it. It's so painful that I can't walk properly and up to sometimes, I feel like crying. But I noticed it is avoidable. If I wear socks and proper cloth while sleeping, it won't be that bad. So I guess it's just angin. After all I am the easily badan berangin type. Masalahnya, PANAS okkkk..how to pakai stocking bagai *nanges*. We sleep in air-conditioned room, but with stocking on? sangat la tak best.

Not to mention I'm very tired nowadays. I don't know how to explain it. Maybe part of it because I'm getting older? Sometimes rasa macam nak makan pharmaton je to boost up the energy, but tak berani la pulak. And Zahra is so lasak nowadays. Not that I'm complaining, it just I've been pampering her quite a lot. Sikit2 with mommy, sikit with mommy. I love her sooooo much. I'm so kesian with her...tak dpt manja2 more than 2 years :(

Ok baby time. He's around 28 weeks now. Yeah, you read it right, it's going to be a HE! haha. Most probably la..according to scan. But who knows after pop-out not a boy kan? God's will. Well, insyaAllah a boy :)

Weighted at 880 gram based on last weekend's checkup and doing fine. This little one I noticed loves to be move on the right side. I can always see he bulging out my right tummy, as for Zahra dulu, she loves to be on the left side.

We call him babyG (not the name will start with G, but it's just inside joke between me and MrComot, so I'm going to use the nickname from now on).

I haven't bought anything yet for him, because most of the stuff is already there. Oh ya, we just bought a nice rocking chair for him, but it is being used by Zahra now hahaha. I hope it can last until babyG pop-out. I'll write about the chair later.

My latest pic last week.

Oh ya, I'm about 50kgs now, last time I started the pregnancy with this weight hehe. I know I'm a bit on the underweight side. Hopefully I'll be good after the delivery, not skinnier *takotnya*.

Zahra still on breastfeeding, not that I have milk pun, maybe a few drops or so. It's just she still wants it, and I wanted to wean her but then dia kena Nephrotic pulak, so tak sampai hati. It's like ripping off her comfort time. So I just let her latch and do whatever she likes. But the doctor advised me to seriously stop at 7 months..to prevent premature delivery. I've read some and there is no proof breastfeeding will lead to premature newborn but if you have history, it might contribute to that. So yeah, meaning I still need to wean her somehow..in any case...

Such a dilemma. I'm about 7 months already. We'll see how later. Just play it by ear.

Mummy and Baby #2

Ok lets talk about me 2nd pregnancy :)

I realized that I havent write anything about, just because I am too busy and tired after a long day. After 5 months, finally I manage to squeeze the time to summarize about little one. Yes, I am already 5 months!! Kesian baby ni macam neglected.

Anyway, honestly this pregnancy is a bit unexpected because I planned to get pregnant again when Zahra close to 2yo and at least when I gained some extra kilos. I remained underweight and start this pregnancy at 40kilos! Can you imagine that? When I started to conceive Zahra, I was 50kilos. It is 10 kilos difference.

There are a few aspect that I would like to pour about this pregnancy.

#First Reaction
When I say it is unexpected, it really is because I don't even remember when was my last period. I just noticed that I missed one month period then I said, ok normal lah, maybe because I still breastfeeding, then when it comes to 2nd month, I did the test, it turned out positive then I made an appointment with my gynea but she is full until the next month, so I first saw her to check on the pregnancy on my 3rd month, end of my 1st trimester. I used 2 sticks to confirm on the pregnancy, first murah2 punya RM5.90 then I bought the digital one at RM30 and both clearly stated positive. Punya la tak percaya.

First thing that came across my mind when I know I am pregnant is sad. Not sad with the baby, but sad with Zahra Elena. I kesiankan dia because I keep thinking that she has to compromise with the little baby and be a big girl. But look now, she still pampered and the little one pulak yg neglected. Sorry baby..

#The pregnancy
I am doing very well in this pregnancy, compared to last one. There is no bleeding like the first time, only a small stain for about a week. And no cyst like before. In fact, I feel rather great and healthy only the big difference that I notice is, I feel very very exhausted. It really drains me out that by end of the day, I already flat and all I want to do is sleep. I no longer have interest to go shopping or sight seeing just because I am very tired. Yeah, tired is my middle name now that I keep on saying to my hubby, "sorry sayang, me so lembik, semua menda penat..berdiri sikit pun penat and tak buat apa-apa" :(

#Emotion
On the hormone side, I notice that I get angry easily. Maybe due to tiredness. I easily pissed on small matter especially at work when I receive normal email or deal with people, but somehow, I realize it and have talked about it with MrComot. He also noticed the changes and said it is OK for me to get pissed with him, but don't be out of control and pour it to strangers because they won't understand like he does. So starting from there, I slowly calm myself and always rethink what I'm going to say/act when I face a few situation. Thank God the temper only last for few weeks in my first trimester and now I think I am the gentlest and most patience person on earth haha. Ok pat on my shoulder, baby #2 going to be very patience :)

#Breastfeeding
I still BF Zahra when I was in my first trimester. I've read a lot of articles and studies
and it is totally safe to continue breastfeeding while pregnant. But the hormone changed rapidly and my boobies hurt like hell whenever I BF her and I totally giving up. I prepared myself that it's going to hurt but I don't know it's that hurt. Plus my milk is drying up, so I can't satisfy her totally. She will take longer time to sleep and to nurse because she has to change the boobies for few times to get all the milk after they refill. And I was very tired as well, so I can't take it and decided to wean her. We bought formula milk because she refused my EBM stock, and I thought FM will make a change, unfortunately she chose to be stubborn and refused the FM too. What she did was, eat like usual at the babysitter but wait until I picked her in the evening and quickly latch on my until we reach the house. I have no choice because I can't see her not to take any milk right? So I keep BF her until on my 2nd trimester, my milk totally dried up (I read that it depends on the one's body, ada yg still ada abundant milk during pregnancy, but for me,
memang habis). When I reached my 2nd trimester, Zahra realize she can't satisfy her thirst with my milk anymore and not to mention the texture also changed. I realize it's thickier and whitier. I read online that the breastmilk also turns saltier so the baby will feel more thirsty instead. This is proven as Zahra will ask for water after every nurse.

In my 2nd trimester finally Zahra opens to formula milk. Itu pun after I bought her the chocolate flavour. Ohh it's Dugro's coklat lazat hehe. Coklat lazat ok. Haishh macam2. Anyway my EBM still in the fridge, pumped from Dec 2010 til Feb 2011 :( She still latches whenever I am there, especially before bed time, most probably just as her drug satisfaction hehe.. So I can say she only 100% on breastmilk for 1 year 2 months. It's a bit emotional for me (I'm sure most of breastfeeding mommy will feel this) because I want to give her the goodness as long as she wants it, and the bonding. Nothing beats the feeling when she finds comfort on your chest and it's like the magic medicine for everything! If she cries because of pain, scared of something, discomfort with the weather, etc, just flash your boob and everything is alright.

Anyway, while we at this topic, in any case you are in the same boat with me, remember this:

Pregnant women need to eat well, drink plenty of water, remain as stress-free as possible, and stay well rested. Nursing moms need to eat well, drink plenty of water, remain as stress-free as possible, and stay well rested. Sense a trend? If you’re both pregnant and nursing, you need to be doubly good to yourself and the wee ones counting on you. It’s vital that you stay well nourished by maintaining a healthy, nutritionally balanced and varied diet. You may be advised to consume extra calories and consider taking vitamin supplements. This is especially important when your nursling is under a year old and less likely to be taking in many supplemental solids.

#Baby #2
Ok time to talk about my little one :) I don't really know when I can meet him/her just because I don't remember my last period hehehe. My gynea siap gelak-gelakkan I lagi. So we solely rely on the scan estimation. The thing is, the EDD keep on changing if using the scan. The first time we went, the EDD was 16 October 2011, the 2nd one is 9 September 2011, then the latest one is 6 October 2011 aha! Banyak beza ok haha. So ladies, please keep track your period, it really
important for you to estimate the due date. Well, we will know the exact date much later, when I am in 3rd trimester but you will need this early EDD for you to plan your trips ke whatever la. Contohnya mcm kitaorg, right after we know the first EDD, terus beli ticket flight to Terengganu to balik kampung in August as I thought I'll be around 6 months that time, if the EDD really change, I might burn the ticket, depends on my condition and how heavy I am that time.

The baby's growth is according to the chart..with everything on track, the hartbeat, the movement, the length, etc, even though I am a bit skinny. I gain weight accordingly to the pregnancy, now at 5 months with accumulative of 6 kilos. Alhamdulillah.. We might confirm on the gender on the next checkup (that will be about next 2 or 3 weeks, need to refer to my calendar).

Other than being healthy, baby #2 is kinda neglected, in a sense of keeping track, taking tummy pictures, my diet, etc. I still eat my supplement, the calcium, obimin and folic acid, only that I don't eat fruits and other healthy diet as much as I do during my first pregnancy. Most of the time because I am too busy and then forget, or too tired to eat anymore, hilang selera. Sorry baby, mommy trying my best here...

Now it reminds me that I haven't finished my pregnancy album with Zahra yet! Haiyohh...ok gotta do it before baby#2 pop out.

Anyway guys, wish me luck and hopefully everything is going to be ok. Below is my latest pic, around last week, at 5 months ;)

Portraiture Pwincess

Oh my...it's almost 3 weeks this blog is abandoned, I am very very busy this few weeks, hardly can seat relax-ly and type something. There's a lot of thing going on both in carreer and personal life

On carreer wise, there has been small restructure where I got new manager to report on and new AGM as well. So we were running around with lotsa meetings to put everything back in place, and not to mention we have 2 big migration project this year, involving big services - DNS and email.

On personal life pulak, we are squeezing everything in place even though both of us have very limited time now because we are expecting 2nd baby! Yeah! I wanted to make a proper write up, but later lah.. So with the second baby coming in, we have to finish our second kitchen (thank God, it's done last week) and I'll write about it later. Then few other thing as well...arrangement nak balik kampung lagi, my parents went back to Terengganu for good last week, so we have to think a lot of thing now, the travel time with little one, Raya, etc etc.

Not to mention that I'm juggling hard between a demanding toddler and tiresome pregnancy.

And the latest news pulak, all the kids in babysitter's place infected with chicken pox. For now only 2 kids free from it, Zahra and the youngest baby (7months Rizqi). Since everybody are infected, the parents decided to leave their kids there *sigh* and I only knew this when we reached at the front door. I wanted to bring Zahra to the office today instead of leaving her with the babysitter, but MrComot had this urgent meeting in Cyberjaya and has no time to detour to my office to drop me there, so I have to follow him to CBJ and leave Zahra there. Thanks to my bos and my new office laptop, I can work anyway as long as got internet connection. I can't bring her here..it won't be that comfortable as it is not my office. Sigh again. Hope Zahra is OK, won't be infected. She already had her immunization last 2 months..but if nak kena, kena jugak kan. What I'm more worried is, if Zahra kena, there is a risk for me to have it too and now is very crucial for me not to have this extra infection.

I owe this blog a lot of stories! Well, I need to jot down all of that because every little thing means a lot to me. Thus I need more time for that! *nanges*

Anyway below is a couple pics of Zahra las week, portraiture style. It's hard to snap her pic these days because she likes to move here and that when I point the camera, and will only have blurry ghostly like pictures. This is the first time she stands still and willingly smile for the camera.

Zahra at 1year4months

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you'll have a good weekend. I have a wedding to attend to on Saturday and more stops in between to settle few other thing lagi. Ahh..work is never end, all I need is extra days for the weekend.

Baby, Welcome to this World

Finally, after so long I have the time to update bits about the delivery. Zahra is sleeping now and my wound pun mcm dah ok, so it's a bit comfortable to be in front of the laptop.

Oh ya before that, thanks for all the response about her name. So for now, I'll call her full name dulu, Zahra Elena, but if you guys datang visit nak call her Zahra pun ok ;)

Talking about name, actually yup, only Zahra got meaning (in Arabic). It's brilliant or bright. Elena pula I picked up from Catherine Zeta-Jones's character in The Mask of Zorro. It's a Greek name means the sun ray or shining light. Hehe ni mak dia punya gedik ok, so whatever la.

Ok, let's sambung from the previous entry, about how anxious I was waiting for the baby, I started to feel the pain on Sunday morning after Subuh (10/01). The pain is pretty mild and I'm not sure if I can call it contraction because it's more like period cramps to me. The only different is, it's timely and consistent. So I started making mental notes and google up about the pain. I also called up Dr Fidak asking her if I can take panadol menstrual! Haha so funny ok. Anyway she said I can take, but only 1 dose.

So I pop in the pill but the pain didn't go away, so I keep on looking some clues in from the internet and SMS mommies for hints. All of them said the contractions is like you having a very bad stomach ache but mine is very different, so I just keeping myself alert.

By noon, the pain is stronger but I was alarmed. Since no 'stomach ache' I just wait and keep myself busy. MrComot and I started to take it seriously. We time the pain when it reaches the peak and I started doing different thing to make sure it's real contraction, like walk every 10mins, stand when it's about to peak, lie down, etc etc. Then it's getting stronger by evening that I cried a few times and after Maghrib I decided to go to TMC.

My contractions sheet

Right after solat, we went straight to labour room and the nurse did vaginal checkup, telling me that I am 4cm dilated, and according to the CTG I am having irregular contractions, and I was admitted immediately, that was 8:20PM. I was given enema to flush out my colon.

The contraction getting more frequent (it's still like bad period cramps to me) and alhamdulillah MrComot gets to be by my side. It sure helps a lot as I keep on asking him with my body squirming and my face cringed in pain

"How much how much?"

everytime the pain peaked. I saw the CTG before and the normal peak is like 30-40 so when MrComot answered "It's there, 80 now, you are doing great!", I feel better.

The labour room

Around 10PM, my doctor arrives and she checked, I was 5-6cm dilated. So she breaks my waterbag. I was still concious that time and it feels like I am peeing non-stop. She also emptied my bladder using i-don't-know-what-is because baby is too low already and blocking it preventing me from urinate normally.

After the waterbag broke, the contractions become stronger and more painful. I was briefed by one of the midwives about pain medications like epidural and pentadine. I have to decide fast on the epidurial as they have to call anestetic while pentadine is a normal jab given in labor. The only thing that is holding me from taking any is because pentadine can only last 4 hours. So I was afraid the labour pain will go more than that huhu. But the midwive decided to give me one shot when she saw I am in stress, even my baby's heartbeat shoot up the roof - at about 170 per sec.

After the pentadine shot, I relaxed a bit (dia macam mengantuk sket) and baby's heartbeat back to normal. She also gave me laughing gas and I inhale like, thousands of time, not helping ok haha.

At 11.20PM I can't hold it anymore and have the urge to push and quickly shout at MrComot to call out for Dr Fidak. When she came, I heard that she said the baby is coming and everything is readied immediately. I can't recall how many nurses attend that time, about 3-4 kut.. They push the bed, pull this and that, positioned my leg, give me handle to pull and said "when u feel the contraction, push it out".

On the first contraction I pushed so hard and then when the contraction gone, I push again so many times thinking it can be done as fast as it can that way - obviously I'm wasting my energy. I have to push only when the contraction comes. I only realized that thing on my 2nd contraction. On my 2nd one, the nurse marah at me because I jerit a bit, you know..jerit like u pushing it la hahaha. She said "save up ur energy! Don't use ur voice". I was like, how to push like that? Haha sempat lagi fikir tau, sebab gap between contractions is like 2 minits apart. And on the 3rd contraction (or 4th) I push it so hard and tiba-tiba toingggggg doc put the baby on my stomach.

I was like 'Hahhhh baby dah keluar ke?'

Seriously, I don't know how to react..I know most mommies mesti cry kan..but I'm completely confused that time. Oh ya..rupa-rupanya baby's shoulder being pulled by the umbilical cord, that's why it's a bit hard for the baby the come out.

It didn't finish there, the plasenta refused to come out as well so doc has to press and massage my stomach like 5-10mins jugakla to get it out. When doc is stiching me, I asked her how long the episiotamy is, she said about 1 1/2 inches. Panjang ke? Anyway seriously, after the baby keluar mmg tak rasa sakit, sebab tu boleh borak lagi ngan doc haha.

But but but but...after stiches, SAKIT OKKK. Eeiii..I think I rather went through the same contractions again because it's only for few hours while this stiching thing lasts me for almost 2 weeks!
The newborn

MrComot didn't manage to snap pictures/record video or anything. He's too nervous and just want to be my side offering soothe word. But I'm glad because at least he gets to witness such scene.

Below is some random pictures:
The room - owl room and she was born at night. Bagus bagus..jgn suka jadi night baby sudah, mommy tak larattt
MrComot trying to 'bedong' the baby

Zahra Elena on the 3rd day - out from the hospital

On the 13th day

There is a funny story though, when we were home, MrComot told me he lied to me during in the labour room. Whenever I cringed in pain and asked him about the contractions point, he said 80-120, but actually it's only 40-60! In fact, during the last hour, the CTG already taken out from me and I didn't notice, still asking him "how much" and he simply petikkkk je cakap 100. Hahaha..tak kisah la, yg penting it helps. I just nak tergelak terer jugak dia menolong.

About the hospital, it's above my expectation, hence I really recommend it. The staff is very effective and attentive. Both labour room and ward. The nurses pun very good. That's why I didn't sleep at the hospital when Zahra admitted due to jaundice, I really trust them. Oh ya, the nurses sangat rajin and really accomodating. On the first night when Zahra keep on crying and I was too tired after feeding her for 4 hours (I think the milk keluar sikit je because I was too stress) and they keep on sending her for me to feed, that's when I decided to give her formula so that I can rest kejap, they siap offer to feed her via shringe so that she won't be nipple confused later.

Talking about milk and feeding (oh my, I really soung like a mommy now hehehe) thank God almighty, Zahra is fine with the switches using bottle and direct bf. As I mentioned before, I already fully bf Zahra (big yeay for me). Even though it is a bit late, but better late than never kan? She's still taking her own sweet time latching on me (but not that 3 hours anymore), so I have new trick now..I still pumping out my milk, so during the day everytime she's hungry it'll be direct bf, but during the night, I just warm up my milk in the fridge so I didn't have to drain myself all the time.

Thanks to a lot of my friends out there who fully bf their kids, they give me strength to exclusively bf my daughter (Tatty, Neena, Radin, and all the online mommies) and the 'supply on demand' concept is very true. I will update my sidebar link later, mommies blog & sites that've been my references.

To all friends, thanks for your prayers and I wish you the best too. Will update again!

Hello World!

Hye darlings!!!

How are you?? I'm doing just fine here. I think most of you already aware that my little one already see the world! Hehe.. Thank God everything went smoothly only that we are coping with the changes pretty hard - irregular times of crying, feeding, changing napkins, burping, etc. Sometimes I just don't know what to do or what she wants and feel so frustrated *sigh*

So introducing to everybody...

Zahra Elena bt Elias
Born on 10/01/10 at 11:40PM via normal delivery
Weight at 3.40kg and lenght is 50cm

Soundly asleep after a while

My first time holding her after being cleaned up. Look how big she is, I can't believe she came out from me!

Right after delivered, placed next to me with her eyes wide open

Anyway I have a lot of thing to say about the birth experiences, sleepless night with the baby and all, but will try to update as soon as possible when I'm coping better and have more time. And to tell you the truth, the reason I can update now is because my little princess is admitted in the hospital due to jaundice. Haaa and the mother is happily updating her blog ish ish ish. Anyway nothing serious, the reading is just slightly over the par (185/150) and insyAllah admission will be 1 night only (please pray for her as well, thanks)
Okla..till now, will update again. Mwahhhhhhh!

The Anxious Mommy, The Cool Baby

I've been meaning to update about a lot of thing especially on baby thing but things is pretty hay wired now because I am ready to go into labor anytime! There are so many checkups and I am at home, with my crappy lappy whom can't upload any pic due to its old age - it will hang if tried to to read my camera! There..so the real reason for no update is because I can't upload pics hahaha.

But I have to write here details of the checkups and my situation, or I'll forget.

Anyway, since I'm seeing two gyneas and both gyneas see me every week, that means I see doc twice a week. It's quite hectic for me and as I have to be there here and there.

Last week has been pretty good only that I'm starting to develop Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) where I feel needle point all over my fingers and it happens during the night. It's quite normal for preganant mommies especially during the late pregnancy where we got swollen and press the nerve. At first I thought I was allergic to something. Anyway after 4-5 days, it's gone, I don't know why and it is a relieve.

I had my first vaginal checkup last Tuesday and was surprised to find out that I am 2cm dilated! Since I don't feel anything, doc said it is a latent opening (passive), could be weeks or days or anytime, I have to watch my contraction period to confirm on it. Doc Zahna said my cervix is really soft and ripening. It's ready!

I started to have bloody show after Maghrib on Wednesday and was pretty messed up because MrComot and I were gaduh that time, bolehhh? Eiiiii..saiko sangat, we didn't have misunderstanding quite for sometimes and yesterday he's being extra sensitive because too tired with works and I was with my 'Suka hati lah nak fikir apa, malas layan!' head, so both had lunch in silence and terbawak2 sampai balik. He tried to make it up on the way back asking me why I acting so cold and all and mommy don't have mood for berbaik-baik ok! I said give me some times as I don't feel like talking hahahaha. What a day. Then the next morning terus MrComot made me air yassin ok. Hahhhh rasa bersalah la tu :P

Then I had another checkup yesterday and had another vaginal checkup, I am 3cm dilated! (This time with Doc Fidak). She's very elated to find out about it and said I could deliver anytime. She told me to come again to the hospital to do CTG this morning if I still hadn't deliver.

This morning, MrComot made me two halfboiled eggs and packed the hospital bag into the car in any case I will be admitted. We went to the hospital and did the CTG thing and alhamdulillah everything is ok, only that I still don't have contraction!

Haiyahhh...baby u still don't want to come out kah?

Anyway according to the last scan, baby is fine, the water (air ketuban) is at comfortable scale (about 12-13), placenta still doing well - not too ripe/matured, baby's head still engaged and facing down so nothing much to worry only that I have to be aware of baby's movement--> I hate this task because everytime people/doc ask baby moves ok tak, I don't know what to answer!! Because I think macam ok, but I don't know if it is enough or not. It's not like baby moves all the time u know..and most of the time I just forgot how much she moves already *sigh*

On the other note, I love to see both doctors because they like to explain a lot to me expecially about the scan thing, what I see and all, not only said "ok...everything is ok". Sometimes I feel like I am in biology class haha.

Oh ya, we also managed to see the heart, already in grape shape and can see the 4 chambers. Alhamdulillah...

Since I don't feel any contraction yet, doc recommend me to do a some exercise to promote natural labor feel
1) squatting
2) pelvic floor massage (to soften it more) --> susah ni and I give it a pass boleh?
3) nipple stimulation

Doc put 12/01/10 as new due date and might consider of inducing me if still have no contraction by that time but it will be more painful than normal labor pain as she will give me Pitocin. My body won't produce endorphin (somethings like natural morphin) as the painkillers as Pitocin won't trigger the brain for this. So I really hope that I get the contraction ASAP so it will be natural as possible, and less painful! Aminnnn...

I still having the bloody show until now, so I'm not sure how much I dilated already. So baby, please come out as soon as u can ok, mommy don't want you to be induced.

Friends, please pray for me. In the mean time, I'll try to update again! Mwahhhhhhhhh

Sugary baby

I had another checkup yesterday with Dr Fidak. As I mentioned before, this week I have to do MOGTT - the sugar test.

They gave me a 75g dextrose and to tell you the truth, the taste is not bad, something like F&N orange, only minus the gas. I don't feel like to vomit (like what other mommies always tell) but I do feel nausea after finishing the whole thing. Serious rasa nak pitam sangat that I wish I don't have to go through this procedure again in the future.

My first sugar reading (I had to fast) was 4.9 which is very good and after consume the sugar my reading shoot up to 9.8. I had to wait an hour and take another reading, estimation should be below 8. Unfortunately my reading maintained at 9.0 and Dr Fidak shoved me to dietrician for consultation.

Anyway I think we read it wrongly because I took the sugar 15mins later, so I had to wait for another 15mins before the last reading. The thing is, I only notice this timing-tak-kena after waiting for dietrician, I browsed my camera and look at the timestamp (MrComot captured my pic drinking the sugar). But nevermind lah, we still go see the dietrician.

The dietrician went through me with a long checklist and the outcome is - I am fine. I don't have to retake the test or to blood-test-before-and-after-eating-thing. She said my reading goes down very slow because 75g is too much for me and I'm not used to it. Yeayyy! Mommy and baby is fine.

I also provided with admission letter and my EDD will be 14 Jan 2009. OMG, suddenly I feel so scared, it's just around the corner! *shiver* *shiver*

I add the text to cover the IC number and macam ok la pulak jadi watermark kan? It's super easy to do btw...maybe I can consider watermarking all my pics after this hmmm

Including the admission slip, they also give me a list for my hospital bag. Looking at it, I was like "OMG, apsal my hospital list before this macam complicated giler?" hahaha

The list

Oh ya, on baby updates, my little one already at 2.8kg and even though she is engaged, the head still facing upfront (profile position). It will be best if she can turn the face down. Dr Fidak tipped me that I have to banyakkan baring mengiring.

My gynea will start to see me every week after this. Hope everything goes well, pray for me ya :)

Gonna update again, mwahhhhhhhhhhh!

36-weeks mommy

Hi darlingsss.. How are you? Hopefully everybody is in the pinkiest health :D

As usual, I had my Tuesday checkup with Dr Zana. I am at 36 weeks now and according to the scan, my baby already engaged!!! Doc said I can deliver any time by now..waaaaaa! I haven't pack my hospital bag yet, and if possible, I want my baby to be January baby. So baby, stay in there first ok, don't be restless to see the world. Nothing fancy outside except your mommy and daddy hahahaha.. Dr Zana also remind me to count on baby movement, it has to be more than 10 times within 12 hours, if lesser than that I have to go to the nearest hospital, baby could be stuck with the umbilical cord.

Ok other than that I think I'm doing pretty well. My weight is according to the chart, at 59kgs now. However, I have to do MOGTT (oral glucose test) next week (with Dr Fidak) as previously she said my baby is a bit biggish (Dr Fidak sendiri use that term, very funny). Hopefully nothing serious, I don't want to have that gestational diabetic. I already watch my diet, more vege and fruits instead of rice.

On my body changes, I feel heavier than ever, and harder to sleep because I still can't get the best position. I keep on tossing around until I drained myself and doze off. Sometimes I can't really walk after stay in one position for long (eg: nak turun kereta, nak bangun from chair) because I will feel so sengal at the bones and muscle. And I always find myself out of breath if I climb a few steps of stairs. MrComot keep on teasing me as Mommy Penguin!! Eeeeiii geram but rasa mcm comel jugak haha.

My constipation already went away. I think because my colon generating good environment now, after months of eating fruits. I have 2 types of fruits every morning and evening.

This is what I'm having for my breakfast/snack today. MrComot cut a whole organic dragon fruit and two persimmons.

I still popping in my Obimin, calcium pills and Anmum. That's all what I'm taking now. Oh ya, the stretch mark is ridiculously hideous! Even though I didn't scratch my belly, they happily formed themselves all the way around my belly like a belt! As I said before, I just found out that it is depending on one's skin. So, expensive oil or whatever-stretch-mark-cream won't really help actually. It only helps to reduce the itchiness. But the doc said the color will fade or turn into pinkish/whitish scar. I think it'll be cute.

I used to feel uneasiness everytime I see the stretch mark, but after a while I am okay with it. If men can be so proud of their sports injury scar, why can't we be proud of ours right? We are carrying a human inside for 9 months!!! Haahh tell me if you can beat that wahai sang lelaki :P

Oh ya, I also start to developing varicose veins. But it is an off and on thing. If I heighten my feet like for half an hour (with stockings on) every day, I notice that the varicose thingy disappeared. It will come again by the way after a few days, so I have to keep on doing it.

This is the latest pic, taken yesterday. I know from the pic I look 'tak besar' but I do okkk! I really look like mommy penguin, even my friends said I look so round.

Hmm what else? I think all I have to do now is wait and be prepared, mentally and physically. I'm pretty sure that I want to have normal delivery, without epidurial but we'll see how I take it later ok. Kalau dilate lambat sangat and the pain is unbearable, I'll give it a shot lah.

To all mommies, get ready ok, there will be pre&post natal blues. So daddies, support your wife ok. Don't be a jerk haha. InsyaAllah all of us will deliver healthy and beautiful baby, aminnnnnn...
