Mystery

Remember when I told that MrComot has this pain at his fingertips and tapak kaki, and some red spots? Well, he's all fine and thank God it wasn't measles. But at the same time, it remains a mystery to us!

The doctor said it could be allergy, and the pain is because water retention at those area, causing the skin to swell. He was prescribed with antihistamine but it doesn't work. Normally if you have allergy reaction and you take the antihistamine, the allergy will off like, almost immediately. MrComot punya last more than a week. Mula2 the red dots at fingertips and tepi2 tapak kaki, then it climbing down..ke tapak tangan, etc. So weird...

And after the red dots gone, the skin peeling off. The picture below taken 3 days ago, only at fingertips, and now the peeling is moving to the fingers and under the feet.

And another weird thing is, MrComot only consume normal food, so we are wondering what causing the allergy. MrComot punya theory lagi dahsyat, he said he think blood poisoning. He cleaned some fish that day, and got cut and the fish blood seep into the cut. Haha..well..it could be, but don't you think it's a bit exaggerate?

Not to mention this is our first time to witness such allergy. Normally ada rashes or hard to breath, but pain at fingertips and feet + red dots + water retention? Sooo weird and it remains mystery to us!

Don't mess with LHDN

This year is my first year opening my account with LHDN. Not that my salary need to pay the tax already, only that MrComot set me as the spouse. While calculating here and there, MrComot came to conclusion that LHDN owe me around RM10.

MrComot: Me going to complaint and ask for refund
Me: Are u sure they owing us?
MrComot: If your form all correct, yes
Me: Confirm ehh..kalau salah nnt mesti they cari pasal and dig unnecessary thing. Lagipun sepuluh ringgit saja bukan ratus2. No need laa..
MrComot: It's ok, me confident! Bukan sebab money, me tak puas hati saja hehe

Kannnnnnn. Confident la sangat. So he filed the complaint asking for the ten bucks haha (I think about a month ago).

We received the first later a week after stating LHDN does not owe me anything. Ok fine.

Then we received second later on the next week, stating that ME owing LHDN RM800++ in 2007!! Both of us so surprised with the figure. I mean, as I said before, I don't have to pay anything yet with my current salary, so let alone in 2007!! Dah la tak open any file with them yet at that time kan. So I dig my EA form and I saw a column stating that I received allowance for phone for 4800 which I never use!!! I mean, I don't know when the hell my company gave me that. Maybe we can use and claim, and I never claim it. So LHDN is charging me on that. Ok fine, it's my mistake. I overlook and naive and foolish to think nobody will care about it.

2 weeks later which is last Sunday, MrComot pulak received a letter from LHDN saying he's owing them a freaking 5k++ in 2007!!

Melampau OKKKK!! I mean, it is obvious ok suddenly they are digging us, after the TEN RINGGIT complaint.

MrComot is an honest payer, so he's a bit clueless why he's being charged. So malam tu gigih la mencari all the old papers and form. Luckily he's organized so he keeps everything. Kalau me la, mmg once bayar, habis la..no evidence or whatever.

The thing is, some of the document is missing, because he lost his laptop last year and his family just moved to Kota Damansara in 2007. So not sure the other docs in which house now. After throughout calculation, he knows where the 5k comes from! It's actually the rebate for his parents medical bills and they totally drop it like he never submit it!! He still have the resits but only half of it. The other half of stack kena cari balik.

It's weird don't u think? In 2007 they already approved the rebate and suddenly now in 2009 they say we didn't pay them. And there is different calculation on the statement, in the previous form saying MrComot has to pay 6% out of the balance of the salary and in the latest 'saman' statement saying he's charged 24%. FREAKING RIDICULOUS! So which one?!!

Me: Me told you!! They saja cari pasal sebab tak puas hati u complaint about the ten ringgit okk
MrComot: *senyap*
Me: So are you going to pay?
MrComot: No wayy!! 5K baik me beli LCD saja! Nevermind, me going to meet them and ask personally. Susah nak kira mcm ni.

Kannn..scary ok LHDN ni. So my advice is, if you think LHDN is owing you like few bucks only, don't bother to ask for rebate. They will go after the whole family okkkk. Hahaha..this my theory only btw. But if it's a lot, calculate carefully first and then complaint. And don't forget to keep all the evidence. Photocopy all the related documents after filing (if you are doing e-filing now, don't forget to print a copy for yourself) and keep all the bills that you had asked for rebate.

On a happier note, I'm gonna update about my Japan trip soon. Hehe dah basi pun citer tu... Ok darlings, take care and don't mess with government :P

The Milk Thief

I received an opened letter when I checked our mailbox last Friday. I was a bit excited as I RARELY got letters. It was from Anmum and I shout;


Me: OMG! Anmum bagi me surat! Kenapa dia bagi me? Mcm mana dia tau me preggy *kannn soalan tak logic sangat*
MrComot: Owhhh mesti dia bagi sample milk
Me: Kenapa dia bagi me? Me ada register mana-mana ke?
MrComot: Tak, me register kan for you hehehe

Waaaaaa don't you think he's sweet? Ok that's not the point.

Me: Really? Thanks sayang! Eh takde pun sample milk?
MrComot: Is it? Hilang kut?

That time I dah tak puas hati. I was thinking must be different letter. Maybe just a letter saying thanks for joining Anmum club etc etc. So I rushed upstairs and open the opened letter.


It stated that they are giving me free sample and I ain't getting any!!! Where the milk gone? Not that I want it sangat pun. But, helooooooo siapa nak curi sample milk?? Milk for preganant ladies ok!

Maybe the post office guy, maybe Anmum's despatch boy sendiri, or maybe the neighbours? Whatever. It's only milk ok. Itu pun nak amik *sigh*

And my husband went to all the process asking free sample for me okk! How dare you snatch it from me!! Grrrrrr

It made me thinking, how reliable the snail mail nowadays? Can you trust them 100%? Since it involves lots stops and people, stuff might gone missing anywhere!

And it shows that the world is full with weirdos *sigh*

Funny things happened yesterday.

#1 story

We had our lunch at Pusat Islam (the makcik punya lauk sedap and murah!) and sat on the same table with this 2 young army in uniform. Their lunch was towards the end already and having their good time chit-chatting, but that's not my point.

I heard them giggling over something that I don't know and I'm not bothered. We just having our lunch macam biasa while borak-borak when suddenly one of the army call MrComot and asked:

Army 1: Abang, abang dah kawen ke belum
MrComot: Ha? (paused a while) Dah
Army 2: Hahahaha
Army 1: Aku takde duit la..nanti la aku bagi

I was like...WHAT THE FUCK, THEY ARE BETTING ON MY HUSBAND!

Ok I am over-reacting. My point is, MOTIF UOLS BET LAKI IOLS DAH KAWEN KE BELUM?

MOTIFFFF???!?!

Eh..did I say they are MALES!!! Males as in MrDicky is hanging right inside their pants!

If they ask me, I would understand la. But MrComot? Whyyyyyyyyyyyy?????


#2 story

MrComot received a call from one of his vendor after lunch. When he told me the conversation I was like, WHYYYY?

John: What do you do on your weekend?
MrComot: Nothing really, at home resting
John: Do you know there is a nice park in section 9?
MrComot: I dunno..where is it?
John: Bla bla bla (telling the direction).. I'll give you a call when I'm about to go there and we can jog together

And again, I was like, MOTIFFF?? Motif kau ajak laki orang pegi jogging sama2 kat nice park?

Hahaha, John if you are ever reading this in the future, no offence ok, your call wasn't at the right time ;)


I know I am over-reacting. I found it funny at the same time though. But still I can't believe it. How come they chose him over me???!?! Korang tak rasa motif sangat ke? Hmmm...

The weird thing in my eyes

Btw, I was back in hometown for the last few days and I have lotttttss stories to share, but since my blogging mood is no there yet, maybe I should whip it up with something simple. Sorry yer Khairiah, nnt kita tulis makan2 :P

Below is pisang tanduk. I snapped it back then when I was in Rena's house. The size surprised me. Have you ever seen this enormous bulk? It is so big that the skin cracking. Hmm.. I wonder what we can do with this kind of banana. Do we eat it fried? Or sweetened it for dessert?

And this is my 1st time ever to see a 'Kenari' taxi. Normal will be proton saga, wira, waja, perdana, etc. But Kenari? Practical if you have big luggages.

Fish-eyes in a box

Mr Comot was craving for Burger King, so we decided to grab it from the Bangsar outlet. Parking is not an easy task there so we parked at the food court (in front of the mosque) and strolling the way to Jalan Telawi.

It came to our surprised when we see the BK spot is closed down - for good. Hmm sejak bila BK kat Bangsar tutup eh?

Anyway, we saw this on the way back to our parking place - The Canadian Pizza. We never have this pizza so we decided to give it a try.

To tell you the truth, the place is a lil bit suspicious. The only level one eating space on that street. Yang lain2 semua at ground floor.

Hmmm..are we really climbing this?

There is only a small glass door and it is locked. We had to ring the bell to get in. Seems like we are the ONLY customer that night, for dining in. Their delivery is doing okay I guess, based on the staff running up and down with the hot-pack bag.

We were ushered to a small room and nasib baik tak pitam ok. The room is very small that I wonder, are they really open for dine in?

There are only 2 tables in that room!

I'm not a pizza person so we order the set for 2 pax (medium pizza+coke+garlic bread) and I wanted to add-on the chicken wings. The waiter suggest us to take the larger set (LARGE pizza+coke+garlic bread+chicken wings - this one for 3-4 pax) as we are going to pay about the same amount. I hesitate at first thinking who going to finish up the pizza but since Mr Comot said we can tapau if tak habis, I said okaylah.

I don't know if it was me who are really hungry or the pizza is relatively good but we finished the whole 3-4 pax set okay. Giler melantak. And I had equally the same amount pizza pieces with Mr Comot. Hehehe a big eater I am.

The Hawaian Chicken. I like the dough. Like a soft bread.

Hmmm I wonder why they need TWO cctv in a SMALL room. Maybe they have something valuable stored in the room (well, I just can see 2 tables with 9 chairs).

Maybe it's not even working, but it is interesting don't you think so?

The weirdos

As in my previous entry, I would like to share with you guys the strange animals from the sea. They are located at one big corner of the restaurant and all of them are edible, if you want to.

Well, see it for your-self and decide later :D

The weird looking fish. Don't remember it's name. But really big.

Escargot. It's soo different from what I always imagined. I thought it's more like typical garden snails (with the dark brown flesh). Anyhow, I still won't try to eat this.

The lobster. Soo big!

Praying Mantis prawn (udang lipan). This one is giler panjang and besar. I think about 18cm or so. The normal one that I always eat is only half of it, around 9cm.

South Australia Lobster

See how HUGE it is compared to my hand. I think it must be 1kg min for the smallest one. So baru one meal dah almost RM300. Haiyoh.. Anyone wanna treat me? hehe

Spider Crab. Very thin but sooo expensive.

One type of the crabs. Don't remember the name. But look at it compared to my handphone! Like a big rock! Look at the hands. Kalau kena sepit boleh putus jari ni.

Snow crab. Remind me of albino phyton. Mahal jugak, but I don't think all the crabs have noticeable different taste. If you guys ever eat those types of crab, tell me eh how it is.

The shark's fin. I don't know why they hang it. Anyway I used to fancy shark's fin soup, but not anymore after knowing how they get it. The fisherman will slice the fin and free the shark to die in the ocean. Soooo...inhuman. Btw, we can opt for fake shark's fin soup, which taste relatively similar.

Abalone

Yucky kan? Sorry, no offense to abalone's lover. It's just, out of my imagination as well. I used to think abalone is one kind of mushroom, boleh? And now, knowing it as a slimy thing and sticking, hmm.. I don't think I want to eat this anymore.
