Blow Up Doll For Dinner?!

Just to share something that I like with you guys.

I discovered Shane Dawson during my confinement days, when my mom 'banned' me from sitting in front of laptop. So I used my handphone (Nokia XpressMusic - I really recommend this phone to you guys, it is awesome with the price tag!) to surf and watch youtube. I browsed under the most viewed or most recent (don't remember) and stumble upon this fella and I went - OH MY GOD HE'S FREAKING HILARIOUS AND DAMN CUTE!

Ok, maybe not that hilarious but I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE his show and most importantly I lurveeeeeeeeee his character. I went gaga over him and giggles like little girl when watching all his videos and keep on telling MrComot "OMG he's so cute!!!". That would be my postpartum blues - crush on Shane! Ha ha ha.

Anyway MrComot was like, "Helooooooo!! Macam ni pun cute ke? He's fake!" --> kata-kata orang jeles yer kawan2. Hahahaha. Like I care he's fake or not. The most importantly I literally love him! =D

Yes! You are SEXY! I LOVE YOU!

Among my favourites - Blow Up Doll For Dinner. ROFL.

Watch here! =D

Ohh I also discover another fella that I like, Michelle Phan! I didn't belive myself I like her so much because I don't dig makeup but she's just brilliant! Ok, maybe that's too high because I have nobody else to compare to. But she's very pretty and her video is well structured and very poised! I like the way she does the video, very entertaining and make me wanna watch more and more. If you are into makeup, her tips are like, the most generous and genuine tip ever. She has many channels and the one that I like most is from RiceBunny.

Last but not least, youtube is awesome! =D

When Dads get excited

I've been meaning to write this post long time ago, since I was in confinement, but still couldn't make it. Most of the time is because I'm just plain lazy and don't know how to write about it hehehe.

Anyway it is about the two men in my life ;)

They are very excited when the little one is coming especially my father. Knowing my father who is slightly *ahem* lazy *ahem* with housework (haha not lazy la..only pampered by my mom :P) so I was quite taken aback when my mom told me that he made cotton mattress for me and Zahra!

It's made of 100% raw cotton filling. The process is quite tedious and fibery, so have to wear the face mask. My father even sew the cover by himself!

Not only mattress, he also made cotton pillows and sew pillow cover for Zahra. 2 sets of them - pink bear and white safari.

The sewing machine. There is 3 laptops there, we helped my father by surfing internet! :P

Oh my father is really a talented guy in sewing and crafting. He can weave mangosteen from 2 ribbons (like you do ketupat, but it is manggis) and used to weave tudung saji from rattan! He even sewed my school uniform those days.

MrComot on the other hand, not really a crafter but he wanted to do something for Zahra and get very excited when he stumbled upon this set of acrylic painting for kids. Bought it at Giant, couldn't remember how much but less than RM10 or RM20 per set, I think.

I did say something like this:

"Buat apa la nak paint2 ni..baby bukannya boleh appreciate lagi"

"Biar la.. me nak buat for baby!"

Hahaha..lawak ok dia sentap. So here he was, around 6 months ago.

Busy panting while me watching The Nanny and ironing working shirts.

MooMoo and Baby

Ugly Elephant. Ha ha ha I always said this elephant looks weird, and he will be defensive "Zahra suka!"

Bright lion. Notice the unfinished line? He wanted to draw with another coat of black paint but turn out to be tak cantik, so it's there halfway :P

Proudly hanged next to Zahra's babycot.

This painting maybe something normal to some people, but knowing my husband who is super busy and rather do his scripting than this cheesy work, it was very sweet of him.

Well, fathers are always like that eh? Just like mothers. Their love also unconditional but they show it differently :)

Personalize the Baby

I subscribed to babiesonline.com and they send me updates of baby's growth every week via email. The info is very handy as it will help me to be calm and make me excited most of the time like "ooohhh no wonder zahra like this" and "heyyyy zahra already can do that!"

Anyway this week's news is quite interesting that I would like to share with you.

Your Baby Week 22

Personality is the theme for this month. It is hard to believe that 6 months ago you delivered a baby who slept, cried, and ate all the time. It is even harder to believe it, now that your baby is playing, laughing, eating regular food, and talking to you. Your baby's personality is really starting to show now. Is he an adventuresome baby or he is content to just sit and play quietly with the toys you give him? Is he outgoing, interacting with strangers, or is he shy and quiet, choosing to hide his face in your arms when you are out?

Play peek-a-boo with your baby, tickle him, and let him explore more of the world around him, including you! Babies are fascinated by faces, eyes, noses, mouths, even glasses. Watch out for hair though, as they tend to start pulling it at this age.

I just can't stop having this amaze feeling thinking how fast they grow from can do nothing, slowly discover the world and their body. It's really amazing. Anyway I still can't really tell what Zahra's personality going to be, but she surely start to show some temper! She will utter angry grunt when she wants attention and everybody is ignoring her, and cries angrily if she's too sleepy.

But she also knows how to win back our heart. Laugh ticklishly whenever we clap to praise her doing something like, *clap clap as the background* pandainya zahra pusing!!

Couple of recent pic:

When she starts to get angry, "stop taking my picture, mommy. Play with me!"

Admiring face anatomy. She likes the mouth the most.

What Might Concern You at 22 Weeks

Is your baby still not sleeping through the night? Believe it or not this is normal. We all awaken several times a night, it is just at some point we learn to put ourselves back to sleep. Until your baby learns how to put himself back to sleep, you will be awoken at night when he awakens. A helpful hint is to get rid of the aides that the baby uses to sleep, whether it be a bottle in bed, a pacifier, or you rocking him to sleep. This may help your baby not feel like he is "missing" something, or lacking something in his schedule.

Ok this is a bit tricky. She wakes up quite a lot lately asking for boobies that I thought she's going through a growth spurt or ready for solid. But I also notice that she only sucks it slowly like for fun, not really drink the milk. So I guess, I AM THE AID. Maybe I should start to put her into baby cot and don't spoil her with my boobies.

Oh yes, she still sleeps with me! Hope it's not too late to train her.

The Falling Rainbow

It was drizzling yesterday evening when we picked little one from her babysitter. Also we reached quite late, around 7pm and both of us struck in awe when we saw this beautiful rainbow from our parking.

We quickly snap a few pictures and keep on saying

"Oh my God sayang..tengok tu cantik nya..."

and even came out from the car, watch in a total silent admiring His creation. Our action drew some attention I guess, that one old man just about to park his bike, stop and said to me

"Haaa..orang tua cakap jangan tunjuk, nanti jari bengkok"

Hahaha..I almost forgot about the myth, don't point at a rainbow or ur finger (or hands?) will be amputated. Anyway funny thing is, MrComot never heard of the myth, so 'Malay' lah you! But he got different version of stories where if you follow the rainbow till the end, you will find a pot of gold! I like his version better :D

Viewed from our car. Rainbow at dawn. Very pretty!

Starts here

End here! Barely there.

The magical moment is we get to see a complete rainbow! OMG, this is a very rare occasion to me. In fact this is my first time seeing a whole semi-sphere rainbow. It's so beautiful, subhanallah...

By the way my compact camera doesn't do justice, it's much prettier on the naked eyes ;)

My house messed like shit

I was busy doing some ironing last night at the living hall and when I was standing while holding my piles of ironed shirt, which gives me bird's view on my house, I was gawking and said "OMG my house mess like shit"

Like seriously.

It's never been this messy before. Or maybe it has but it didn't tug my heart this much heeeee.. Anyway, I quickly snap a pic using my phone because I find it amusing (and because I am weird like that) and immediately open my laptop to upload this pic, boleh? Bukannya nak kemas rumah.

Both are the same pic only the later one is tagged. Click!

Yes, the pic is uploaded last night but I was too sleepy after that and can't write anything about it and when straight to the bed. It's not only living hall like this..the mess is everywhere, only the kitchen is super clean because I lay no hands there ha ha ha.

Anyway yes, it's pretty much the same this morning. Stuffs still here and there, only empty vitagen bottle and used tissue paper weren't there. Manage to throw them into dustbin ha ha ha.

How I wish we have 3-days weekend...or more!

Day1-outing to malls
Day2-clean house and prepare grand dinner like lemon rosemary chicken
Day3-cuddle all day!
Day4-visit family
Day5-baking some stuff for colleague
Day6-work
Day7-work

Repeat.

2 days is definitely not enough.
