Say Cheeeeseeee

Finally! After a month married to each other, I cook on last Sunday okkkk! Shabbbaaass bette!! *patting at myself*

It is a simple macaroni and cheese by the way hahaha. Whatever it is, I am sooo proud of myself lalalala

Original recipe came from wanderingchopstick, I did altered here and there, so babes, please put on your apron and lets whipping out this cheeezyyyy meal.



The ingredients

1 whole cheddar cheese (about 9 oz)
250g peeled fresh prawns
1 stick of butter (I think about 20g)
1 whope pack of white button mushroom
1 1/2 cup of milk (I use low fat dutch lady)
500g macaroni
4 cloves of garlic
a pinch of salt

Melt butter and sautee the garlic. Add flour to thicken the sauce.

Then the sliced mushrooms.

Then the prawns. Btw, I might did a small mistake here. I think it is better to cook the prawn after melting the cheese so that it won't be overcooked.

Add the milk and let it simmer for a while.

While it is cooking, grate your cheese. You can buy the readily grated but I don't know what is the difference. But don't dump the whole block lah..nnt susah nak melt.

Melted and thicken! Oh ya, don't forget to add salt to taste. While at this, make sure your macaroni is ready.

Pour the macaroni and mix them all throughly.

Done on macaroni side. Since we don't have vegetables, I just blanched some greens as below:

Boil brocolli and carrots with a pinch of salt to seal the freshness. Oh ya, before boil kan, soak the vege in water and salt first, to bring out all the insects ke apa ke.

Just blanch it for few mins then quickly toss it and soak in iced water, to keep the crunchiness. Wahhh over tak? Kalau ada kids, confirm tak buat ni, takde masa okkkk.

Toss it well. Then sprinkle some salt and ground blackpepper.

And voila! Our official lunch and dinner that day :D

Healthy is it? And nyum nyum!

Trust No One

Hi all,

After the short MPD session, I've decided to keep on writing. I'm sorry if I put u guys in worry. Anyway just to keep things clear, the reason why I wrote such thing yesterday is not because hurting comments, but it is because of unexpected reader. But after all, it is a blog and we are talking world wide web here. So everybody is free to browse and read this blog. Thanks for all the support though and me love ya!

Ok, lets move to another chapter. About the wedding.

Though everything went well, something bad happened at the end of the day. My make-up kit GONE. Gone as in missing in action.

Kalau yg pegi wedding mesti tanya, bila masa budak ni make-up hahaha. The make-up set is borrowed from my mother-in-law and can you imagine how I felt that time, menghilangkan barang mekap mak mertua dalam masa tak sampai sebulan menjadi menantu. Hah! Pitam noks.

I am very confident this incident happen at the end of the day as from the pictures (again pic become a good proof) showed that the case still 'there' during the wedding.

My sis camwhoring in the room during the reception. The case is in red box.

Most of the things are old stuff but they are also new stuff, new as in I just bought them 2 days before *nanges*. There are:

1) Estee Lauder eye shadow palette
2) Estee Lauder blusher in 3 shades
3) Laura Mercier liquid foundation
4) Laura Mercier secret finish
5) Fiberwig mascara
6) MAC two-way cake foundation
7) Bobbi Brown liquid foundation
8) Loreal blusher in Pink Marshmallow
9) Estee Lauder eyeliner
10) MAC lip tint in shocking pink
11) Brushes - about 10 sticks of them

And all gone *sob sob*

I just realised about it when we already arrived home

Me: Eh sayang tak amik ke make up case on the table tadi?
MrComot: Takde pun. You bring ke?
Me: Yup me bring. But me thot u tolong bawak balik tadi
MrComot: Me just bring back what me brought before

So we quickly call the manager of the place and later of the day he get back to us with unhappy answer ;(

Apparently, somebody *accidently* took it and keep all of the things happily *sigh*

Btw, thank God that I don't also keep jewelleries in the case. Kalau tak, mmg mak pitam betul2 lah..

So moral of the story here:

1) Remember everything you have/brought and make sure you bring back the same thing. Kalau pegi toilet pun, masuk toilet bawak hp, kuar toilet pun make sure hp ada lagi ok. Kut2 jatuh dlm toilet ke
2) Don't easily trust human being, no matter how decent they look as it can be deceiving sometimes. And no matter how well they present themselves. No matter whatever lah ok? Don't simply leave your stuff lying around. It's a big NO NO in this new world.

Hmmm

Through this week, I just found out that MANY unexpected people eventually, read my blog.

Somehow, it's a bit embarrassing and uncomfortable to me. So, right now I am considering a lot of options, and closing my blog is one of them ;(

It's still undecided. A lot of thing has to be considered, especially my interest in writing this blog.

So now, I am contemplating with this options:

1) Totally shut down - I won't write anymore and this will be very sad
2) Change my domain - I like aandes, this is me, and somehow, even if I changed, ppl will still find out sooner or later
3) Privatize my blog - I don't see the point of writing if I private kan my blog but this will be the best option for now. But, it won't be no fun anymore. I mean, I have to consider a lot of things while writing, especially on how to convey my emotion and it is a challenge to me. If I make it private, all the challenge and thrill will washed away.
4) Privatize certain entries - same as above. What's the point of blogging?

Anyway, I'm sorry if I ever hurt anybody with my words/entries/etc etc. I might be rude to you and I am sorry again for that, as I can be very naive and inconsiderate sometimes.

Life is a never ending learning process.
